- Being an artist my entire life, I can identify as one striving to be a life long learner as an artist, student of the arts, and teacher. As an educator, I’ve taught from Pre-school to college level, and lively senior citizens. Idealism with making the world a bit cleaner, I thought recycling paper in a “throwaway” world was something meaningful that I could do, and incorporate into my art. Doing my own little part for Mother Nature, I could create beautiful art from trash. I was Green before it was the buzz.

Today my mom's been gone for 6 years today. I miss her words dearly. She would have passed this along for all of us and tapped her foot with it! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteToday is my daughter-inlaw, Lynette's, birthday. Brett and Lynette have now moved to another state and beginning new adventures in their lives. Today you, Kate are being especially remembered as you honor your mother's memories

Isn't it funny, Kathy, that there seems to be someone forever missing that we'd share with? I miss my mom too. It was always great to talk and share good things and bad. The advice always came, whether we wanted it, or not, sometimes, but I do wish I had listened more now. They'd want us to smile more and live our lives productively and gracefully, I'm sure. Kate {+:
